The e-Paper display that comes with this ER-EPD029-2R is a 2.9 inch 128x296 resolution with red/white/black color with embedded controller, communicating via SPI interface. One fantastic aspect of the e-Paper display is the fact they don't need any power to keep the image on the screen. Just like a Kindle, you can read whatever is on your screen in daylight without any reflection. It comes with SSD1680 controller, compact size (COG package), high contrast, sun readable, FPC connection, optional FPC connector. It supports 3/4-wire serial interface.
